I was inspired by a beautiful blog to which I subscribe, to make a gingerbread house this year!  I'll be doing this step by step and will be including the kids (well, maybe mostly my almost 4-year-old...  my little one will probably just eat the candy).

When you're doing a project like this, finding the proper ingredients can be a MAJOR time-taker.  But it's completely doable.  I'll be ordering my candy ornaments (HFCS, Corn, and Dairy-free) from here!  I'm so excited to have found this site.

It would also be wise to, at this point, locate a source of Cornstarch-free powdered sugar.   Locally for me, Wegmans stocks it in their natural food section.
